Since 2014, Millstone has been serving up French-inspired desserts, flaky pastries and seasonally focused menu items in the heart of Malvern. From the beginning, Alice's philosophy was to bring people together with food, creating a haven of French-style feasting in Malvern.
Today, Millstone is no longer a simple cafe or patisserie, but a place where food is celebrated both at Millstone and all across Melbourne. Our seasonally driven menus are focused around celebrating the 'classics' & working with local producers, all with a touch of French flair.

Millstone was born out of a dream to showcase Alice's love of French-inspired food and Australian classics. Since 2014, Millstone has been operated by Alice and Quentin, a French/Aussie duo, obsessed by food and who love a good party.
You will find Alice in the kitchen, handcrafting petit gateaux or rolling croissant, and designing menus for events all over Melbourne. Quentin will be pouring the drinks, welcoming you in, and organising the entire operation that brings Millstone's food to you.
With our expansive team, we will have you feasting from breakfast to dinner, and enjoying food the way it should be, with people.
