Our watercolour cakes are the perfect way for you to create a custom cake suitable for you or a loved one.
Each cake is layered with vanilla butter cake, vanilla or chocolate buttercream and your choice of curd, fruit or filling.
Each cake can be customised by changing the colour of our watercolour detail, adding macarons or florals or fun edible sprinkles.
*Please note that florals and greenery will differ depending on seasonality.

The below flourishes can be added to your cake or custom design at an additional cost. Each cake order come with a customised white chocolate plaque. Should you wish for us to add a custom flourish, please contact us with your request.

How big are your cakes?
Our layer cakes range from 5 to 9 inches in diameter, depending on the serving size. Each one of our delicious creations is layered with 3 layers of butter cake, which are then sandwiched with luscious buttercream and a variety of different fillings.
I need to cater to a large group - can you help?
If you require your cake to feed upwards of 20 people, please get in contact with us directly via email - millstonepatisserie@gmail.com - to discuss your options.
I have a dietary requirement.
We offer vegan cake options and are happy to work with you to develop further flavours to suit your dietary requirements.
Do you take customer orders?
While all of our signature cakes come ready to order, we are more than happy to work with you in creating your perfect flavour combination.

Pick up
You are welcome to pick up your custom cake from our bakery in Malvern, Victoria. Each cake will be placed in a secure cake box fastened with a lid. When driving with our cakes, we suggest placing them on the front passenger floor of the car, or in the boot on a flat surface.
Serving Suggestions
For best eating, please ensure our cakes remain out at room temperature for at least 1 hour prior to serving.

Create your perfect cake
In addition to our cake range, we also offer custom cake designs to ensure your every need is met. Made from scratch in our pastry kitchen at Millstone, we pride ourselves on using the highest quality, seasonal ingredients. Below you'll learn how to build your unique cake. Step 2:
Choose your flavour
We pride ourselves on using seasonal ingredients, sourced locally, while also importing our chocolate from Belgium and other pastry staples from France.
Our curds, are made with meyer lemons, and our pralines made from combining dark roasted nuts with a golden caramel.
While all of our signature cakes come ready to order, we are more than happy to work with you in creating your perfect flavour combination.

Select delivery date & place your order
We require 72 hours notice for the production of your custom order. If you need something more urgently, please contact us and we'll do our best to accomodate you. At checkout, you will be able to select your event date and arrange either delivery, or pick up from our patisserie venue in Malvern, Victoria.
